# Move Clippings Between Projects

Correct clippings that were added to the wrong project


If a clipping was added to the wrong project, you can move it to another project in the same organization. You can move one clipping or several clippings at once.

## Move one clipping

1. Open the clipping's **•••** menu in the Clippings table or in the clipping details.
2. Select **Move to project**.
3. Choose the destination project and confirm the move.

## Move several clippings

1. Select the clippings in the Clippings table.
2. Select **Move to project** in the batch actions bar.
3. Choose the destination project and confirm the move.

## What is carried over?

The clipping's files, content, outlet, and other standard details stay with it. Tags and custom metric values are carried over when the destination project has a compatible equivalent. Unmatched or incompatible values, including project-specific formula values, are removed. The clipping's relevancy is reset for the destination project.

A clipping cannot be moved while it is still being processed. Wait for processing to finish and try again.
