# Quick Start

Get up and running with aclipp in minutes

This guide walks you through the essentials, from creating your first project to sharing insights with your team. You can use aclipp for PR analytics, AI Visibility / GEO, or both in the same reporting workflow.

## Create a project

A project is your central workspace. Give it a name, upload a logo and cover image, and set your brand color. These shape the look of your reports, dashboards, and stakeholder-facing AI Visibility views.

## Choose your first workflow

Most teams start with one of two workflows:

- **PR analytics:** collect clippings, structure them with metrics and tags, then build dashboards and reports.
- **AI Visibility / GEO:** define prompts, choose AI providers, track competitors, and analyze how AI answers mention and cite your brand.

You can run both workflows in the same project so earned media and AI Visibility can be reported together.

## Add clippings

Clippings are the media coverage items you track. Paste URLs, upload files, use the browser extension, or import a CSV or Excel file.

## Set up AI Visibility / GEO

AI Visibility tracks how AI assistants talk about your brand. Start with a small prompt set around your category, product, competitors, or market, then choose the providers and cadence you want to monitor.

## Define custom metrics

Metrics are data fields attached to every clipping, such as sentiment, tonality, or key messages. They power your dashboards and reports.

## Organize with tags

Tags are simple labels to categorize clippings by campaign, market, topic, or any other dimension.

## Build a report

Turn your clippings into professional, shareable documents. Filter the data you want, design a layout, then export or share.

## Set up a dashboard

Get a real-time overview of your media coverage with customizable charts and widgets. For AI Visibility, use the dedicated visibility views to compare providers, mentions, citations, sentiment, share of voice, and Gap Score.

## Connect integrations

Import clippings automatically from external sources. Set up once and new coverage flows in on its own.

## Report PR and GEO together

Once coverage and AI Visibility data are flowing, combine the story for stakeholders: what coverage you earned, how it performed, and whether it is shaping the answers people receive from AI assistants.
