Google Alerts monitors the web for mentions of any keyword you choose. By connecting it to aclipp, new mentions are automatically imported as clippings.

## Getting the RSS feed URL

Google Alerts can deliver results as an RSS feed that aclipp reads automatically.

1. Go to [google.com/alerts](https://google.com/alerts) and create an alert for your search term.
2. In the alert settings, set **Deliver to** to **RSS feed** (not email).
3. After creating the alert, click the RSS icon next to it and copy the URL from your browser's address bar.

## Configuration

### RSS feed URL

The feed URL from your Google Alert.

### Relevancy check and filter

When enabled, AI evaluates each article for relevance before importing it. Add an optional filter description to explain which topics should be excluded.

### Default status

The default status assigned to clippings imported through this integration: **Draft**, **In Review**, or **Active**.
