Raphael BuchbergerIt's been more than 1.5 years since our last team event in Vienna. A lot has happened since then. Back then, we developed the aclipp Customer Journey for the first time to understand how marketing, sales, and customer service should be structured. The software was still an MVP, and the first customers were already on board. Now, it was time to lay the foundation for scaling.
For our second team event, it was important for us to enjoy time together and experience new things after countless days in home office. So, we quickly chose a charming cabin in Tyrol, nestled in the mountains and just a stone's throw from Lake Achensee. The rustic accommodation had the perfect ambiance for cozy evenings and developing creative ideas in a completely different setting.

The entire team event was a surprise: only the three founders knew the plans, and everyone else found out about the activities just minutes before they happened. We started at Lake Achensee with a snack bag to help us tackle the hike to the alpine hut. Once at the top, we enjoyed a delicious Kaiserschmarrn while waiting out the rain before heading to our accommodation.

To really unwind, we all tried tubing for the first time: with an inflatable tire, we went down a mountain river in whitewater. As our tour guide Herwig said, "You have to work, always work hard (paddle with your hands) and drive ahead." Constantly looking for the right path through the currents and rocks, all thoughts were focused on not flipping the tire. We then moved on to mountain carting—drifting down the mountain on a tricycle. Here, we were even more in our element and could fully leave everyday life behind.

On the last day, we went to Lake Achensee for volleyball and stand-up paddleboarding. Over three days, we experienced a lot together, recharged our batteries, and had relaxed conversations within the team. Even though the team event was completely different from our time in Vienna, it was just what we needed after 1.5 years of home office. We look forward to the next trip!
