aclipp Monitoring

Use aclipp's built-in news monitoring to automatically find and import relevant media coverage

aclipp Monitoring is built-in, AI-powered news monitoring. No external subscription is required. Define keywords, and aclipp regularly searches the web for matching articles, then imports relevant results as clippings with full AI processing.

Go to the Monitoring tab in your project to set it up.

How it works#

aclipp Monitoring creates an internal monitoring source for your project. Once it is active, new matching articles are imported automatically and processed like other clippings: metadata is extracted, the outlet is matched or created, media value is estimated where possible, and tags or metrics can be suggested.

Configuration#

Keywords#

Each keyword defines a search query. You can add up to 3 keywords.

  • Exact match: Only finds articles that contain the keyword exactly as written. Best for unique brand names or specific phrases.
  • Broad match: Finds articles related to the keyword, even if the exact phrase isn't used. Best for general topics or common terms.

Domain filters#

Control which websites are included or excluded:

  • Include domains: Only import articles from these specific websites.
  • Exclude domains: Never import articles from these websites.

You can add up to 20 included domains and up to 20 excluded domains.

Country filter#

Select up to 5 countries to focus the monitoring on articles from specific regions.

Keyword filter#

Add an optional text filter to refine which results get imported. Only articles matching the filter will be imported.

Relevancy check#

When enabled, AI evaluates each result for relevance before importing it. This helps reduce noise from loosely related articles.

Default status#

Choose the default status for clippings imported through monitoring: Draft, In Review, or Active.
