Move Clippings Between Projects

Correct clippings that were added to the wrong project

If a clipping was added to the wrong project, you can move it to another project in the same organization. The destination project must have PR Analytics enabled; only eligible projects appear in the destination list. You can move one clipping or several clippings at once.

Move one clipping#

Open the clipping's ••• menu in the Clippings table or in the clipping details.
Select Move to project.
Choose the destination project and confirm the move.

Move several clippings#

Select the clippings in the Clippings table.
Select Move to project in the batch actions bar.
Choose the destination project and confirm the move.

What is carried over?#

The clipping's files, content, outlet, and other standard details stay with it. Tags and custom metric values are carried over when the destination project has a compatible equivalent. Unmatched or incompatible values, including project-specific formula values, are removed. The clipping's relevancy is reset for the destination project.

Check currency values

aclipp does not convert currency-denominated values when moving a clipping. If the projects use different currencies, review and adjust those values yourself after the move.

A clipping cannot be moved while it is still being processed. Wait for processing to finish and try again.
