Agility PR Solutions Alternatives 2026: PR Platforms Compared
Compare Agility PR Solutions alternatives by media database, monitoring channels, reporting output, AI visibility, and which vendors publish a price.

Agility PR Solutions covers most of the PR workflow in one platform: a media database of 1.1 million verified contacts, outreach tools, monitoring and reporting. Newswire distribution is listed separately as an add-on rather than part of the subscription. Monitoring is where the detail matters: Agility includes online, broadcast and social for all monitoring clients, says print is subject to licensing fees, and lists niche publications and podcasts as things it can monitor on request or by plan. Across everything it indexes over 2 billion news items a year. Managed Services adds analysts who write custom reports if you would rather not.
The AI layer is called PR CoPilot, and Agility has shipped a lot into it recently. Canvas turns coverage into a visual report with embedded social posts. Agility Agent takes a plain-language brief, no Boolean required, and returns a stakeholder-ready media report. Visibility Intelligence, the newest addition, tracks how the brand appears in AI answers, which sources feed those answers, and which outlets to pitch as a result.
Behind it sits a detail most buyers miss. Agility is a subsidiary of Innodata Inc., the Nasdaq-listed data engineering company that acquired it in 2014, back when it was still called MediaMiser. The Agility platform arrived through a separate acquisition in 2016. Agility was reported as its own segment in Innodata's filings through 2025. That changed in 2026: Innodata now reports as a single operating segment effective the first quarter, so the separate financial line on Agility is gone. The product sits inside a business whose centre of gravity is AI data services rather than communications software.
Two commercial details are worth settling early. Pricing is quote-only, and the standard billing cycle is annual. And Agility states it bills primarily in USD, CAD and GBP, with currency conversion applying outside those regions, which is worth raising early if your budget is in euros.
What to check in an Agility alternative
- Does the database cover the outlets you actually pitch? Agility's public pages route you to a demo and a pricing conversation, so ask during that call whether you can test the database yourself, and have them look up five real target outlets either way. Contact counts settle nothing. A 1.1 million figure says nothing about German trade press or Austrian regionals.
- Which monitoring channels apply in your country? Print and broadcast coverage varies enormously by market, and global feature lists rarely say so.
- Are press review rights included? If you circulate coverage internally in Germany, licensing is a separate question, and the international platforms in this comparison do not list it as part of their monitoring.
- Is the reporting a dashboard or a deliverable? Ask for a monthly PDF built from your own test data, not a demo screenshot.
- What does AI visibility cost, separately? Several suites in this comparison fold it into a quote rather than pricing it on its own, so ask for the standalone figure.
- Which currency and contract length? Annual billing in a foreign currency changes the real cost more than most feature differences.

The seven alternatives in detail
1. aclipp: best when the reporting is the part that hurts
aclipp does not replace Agility's database or its distribution. It has neither. What it replaces is the half of the subscription that produces the monthly deliverable.
Coverage arrives through built-in online monitoring or through integrations with Landau Media, OBSERVER, Argus, Meltwater and Talkwalker, plus RSS and Google Alerts, then feeds custom KPIs, dashboards and white-label PDF reports, with PowerPoint export for eligible organisations. Metrics stay editable, so a reach or media value figure you disagree with is something you can change rather than something you have to explain away.
PR Analytics is €99 per month billed annually, in euros, and standard plans include unlimited internal users from the same email domain, though users outside your domain may incur additional charges. Running it alongside a database tool instead of replacing the whole suite is a workable split. Price both routes against your Agility quote before deciding which is cheaper.
AI visibility is part of the same picture. aclipp tracks how brands appear in AI answers across eight providers, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Grok and Mistral, selectable per project, and reports them in the same dashboards and reports as earned media. It is a separate product from €49 per month billed annually rather than a line inside an enterprise quote. See AI Visibility.
Best fit: in-house teams and agencies whose monthly output is a report.
2. Muck Rack: best for replacing the database and outreach half
Muck Rack covers the media relations side on similar lines: journalist database with AI recommendations, pitching, online monitoring, reporting, and Generative Pulse for visibility inside leading LLM answers. Podcast monitoring starts on Standard, print and broadcast monitoring and social listening are add-ons, and Generative Pulse sits on Premier.
The pricing model is the same problem you may be leaving. There is no plan price list, custom dashboards need Premier, and the API is a Premier-only add-on. Muck Rack's own measurement guide puts annual pricing between $5,000 and $53,000, with around $15,000 for many mid-market teams, which at least gives you a range to argue from.

Best fit: teams whose main use is finding and pitching journalists.
3. Semrush AI PR Toolkit: best if you want to see the price
The former Prowly is the one direct competitor here that publishes plan pricing. Base is $149 per month billed annually, Pro $279, Business $499. Extra users are $20 per month each.
Read the plan matrix before you get attached. Base includes no media monitoring at all, Pro adds online monitoring with 3,000 mentions a month, and Business adds competitor tracking with 50,000. Database contact allowances are how many journalists you can add to lists each month, not the database size, and exports are metered separately. The whole line is online-first, so print, broadcast and licensed press reviews sit outside it.

Best fit: outreach-led teams who want published pricing and already use Semrush.
4. CisionOne: best when you want the biggest suite
CisionOne is the enterprise version of what Agility does: more than 500,000 validated journalists and outlets, monitoring across online, print, TV, radio, podcasts, magazines and social, analytics, outreach and AI Visibility dashboards.
Neither vendor publishes a price, so get both quotes side by side rather than assuming where each lands. The reason to shortlist CisionOne against Agility is coverage breadth per country, so ask both for a source list for your specific markets rather than comparing headline totals.

Best fit: organisations consolidating several tools into one contract.
5. Meltwater: best for global monitoring with AI answers included
Meltwater covers online, print, broadcast and social, with alerts, dashboards, benchmarks, custom reports and GenAI Lens for AI answer tracking. It covers the same broad-platform ground as Agility, and it also integrates with aclipp if you want the monitoring from Meltwater and the reporting somewhere with a published price.
Pricing is custom. Meltwater's own pricing article gives non-binding US guidance from $10,000 a year, which is guidance rather than a quote.
Best fit: teams whose coverage genuinely spans many countries.
6. Onclusive: best for European licensed press reviews
If Agility's weak spot for you is European print and press review rights, Onclusive is the specialist answer. It states 3 million or more online sources, over 60,000 European print titles and more than 12,000 broadcast sources, and its press reviews are copyright compliant through licensing agreements with collecting societies.
Onclusive also publishes pricing for one product, GEO Analytics, from $105 a month on an annual plan for one country and ChatGPT only. Everything else is quoted.

Best fit: European teams who circulate coverage internally and need it licensed.
7. OBSERVER, Landau Media and PMG: best for DACH sources and rights
For German, Austrian and Swiss coverage, the regional providers document things the international platforms do not list, starting with licensed press reviews. OBSERVER covers print, online, social, radio, TV and German-language podcasts with human review, press reviews and prompt monitoring across major AI services. Landau Media covers the same channel set with dashboards and media analysis. Both integrate with aclipp.
PMG MediaHub is the one to compare if the problem is licensing rather than finding coverage. Portal access is €50, €100 or €150 per month, with per-article licence fees charged separately by publication and recipient count.
Best fit: DACH teams who need print, press reviews and usage rights handled properly.
Where Agility puts its AI visibility feature
Agility describes Visibility Intelligence as a feature of the PR CoPilot suite. It reports share of voice across AI answers, audits how the platforms describe your brand, identifies the sources feeding those answers, and lets you pitch the outlets that build AI authority. Agility's own research behind it analysed 24,480 prompt and answer pairs across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude.
Buying it inside the suite is convenient. It also means Agility publishes no standalone price for it, so you cannot see what that part of the contract costs or compare it against a specialist. Onclusive publishes GEO Analytics from $105 a month on an annual plan, aclipp sells AI Visibility across eight providers from €49 a month billed annually, and Brand24 offers an AI Visibility module on published plans. Ask Agility to confirm which package includes Visibility Intelligence, what it costs there, and what happens to it at renewal.
Compare the AI visibility tools for PR teams
Which alternative fits your situation?
| Your situation | Suitable shortlist |
|---|---|
| Reporting is the painful part, outreach is fine | aclipp |
| The database and pitching are what you use most | Muck Rack |
| You want published pricing before a sales call | Semrush AI PR Toolkit |
| You are consolidating several tools into one contract | CisionOne |
| Coverage spans many countries | Meltwater |
| European print and licensed press reviews are required | Onclusive |
| DACH sources, print, and usage rights are the priority | OBSERVER, Landau Media, PMG |
Conclusion
Agility is a capable all-rounder, and PR CoPilot has shipped a lot in the past year. If your team pitches, monitors and reports inside one platform and the renewal is fair, there is no reason to move.
The reasons to look elsewhere are more often commercial than functional. Quote-only pricing, a standard annual billing cycle, billing primarily in USD, CAD or GBP, and an AI visibility feature with no published standalone price make it hard to know whether you are paying a sensible amount. Muck Rack and CisionOne answer the media relations half. Semrush answers the published-pricing complaint. The DACH providers answer print and licensing.
And if what never quite worked was turning coverage into a report someone trusts, that is a different product entirely, and aclipp publishes what it costs.
