7 Ahrefs Brand Radar Alternatives for PR Teams in 2026
Brand Radar comes from SEO and leans on search demand. PR teams need their own prompts, cited outlets and one report alongside press coverage. Seven alternatives, with prices.

Compare Releasd alternatives by where coverage comes from, reporting depth, seats and URL limits, AI visibility, and current pricing.
Sascha KirsteinReleasd is a focused PR reporting product, and its documentation is direct about what it is not. Its own FAQ says it plainly: "Releasd is a PR reporting platform, not a media monitoring platform." Coverage arrives because you paste URLs or bulk-upload files from any source, and the product spends its effort on what happens afterwards.
That effort shows. Reports combine narrative, online, print, social and broadcast coverage, images, video and documents, with drag-and-drop layouts, reusable templates and per-brand styling. The measurement layer goes past reach into sentiment and prominence on every plan, and Releasd's package matrix puts key-message penetration, spokesperson quote inclusion, the Brand Recall Score and the Attention Cost Estimate on Pro and above. Reports ship as secure interactive links and branded PDFs, with spreadsheet export and full-screen presentation also starting at Pro.
So the alternative question is usually not about report quality. It is about the two things either side of it: where the coverage comes from before the report, and how far the AI measurement goes.
Releasd now scores how likely the online coverage URLs you add to a report are to influence AI responses, through an AI Impact Score built from article quality and crawler visibility, plus generated prompts and prompt topics. Its documentation covers online coverage URLs rather than print, broadcast or uploaded files, and it does not say which plan includes the feature, so confirm availability in your quote. It also does not describe recurring prompt monitoring across named assistants, which is a different job from tracking observed brand mentions in live AI answers.
| Plan | Price per month | Users | Reports | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | £259 | up to 5 | Unlimited | Sentiment, prominence, online links and PDF |
| Pro | £389 | up to 5 | Unlimited | Adds ACE, key messages, quote inclusion, Brand Recall, spreadsheets |
| Advanced | £589 | up to 5 | Unlimited | Adds security, user management and a dedicated account manager |
Prices are shown in GBP, with USD and EUR also offered, and annual prepayment takes 15% off against a twelve-month commitment. Every plan includes up to 5 users and up to 500 URLs a month by default. That allowance covers online and social URLs combined across all reports and does not roll over, while print and broadcast coverage is unlimited. More seats or capacity are quoted separately.
Two things follow. Paid plans start at £259 per month and there is no self-serve trial, though demo-qualified teams can get a free branded proof-of-concept report plus platform access without payment details, so evaluate before you budget. And because there is no monitoring, the real cost is Releasd plus whatever finds the coverage, which is the number worth comparing.
| Tool | Best for | Coverage intake | Analysis and reporting | Public starting price |

| Releasd | Interactive, well-designed PR reports | Manual URLs and bulk uploads, no built-in monitoring | Sentiment and prominence on Core; deeper analysis from Pro | Core £259/month, Pro £389/month, up to 5 users |
| aclipp | Monitoring and reporting in one workflow | Built-in monitoring plus integrations | Custom KPIs and AI metrics, dashboards, white-label reports, analysis via AI assistant (API/MCP), optional AI visibility | PR Analytics from €99/month, billed annually |
| CoverageBook | A close presentation-focused alternative | Manual links and uploads | Coverage metrics and analysis, layouts, PDF and CSV | Bronze $99/month for 100 clips |
| ReachReport | Connecting existing monitoring to reports | Integrations with monitoring services, plus links | Coverage metrics, templates, live links and PDF | From $59/month, the lowest listed entry price here |
| Prezly | Newsrooms and owned media relationships | Online news, X, and LinkedIn via a paid per-monitor add-on | Campaign and coverage analytics tied to stories | Essential €100/month, billed annually |
| Muck Rack | Database, pitching and coverage in one | Built-in online monitoring; print and broadcast as add-ons | Dashboards and Generative Pulse on Premier | Custom; vendor guidance $5,000 to $53,000/year |

| CisionOne | Enterprise consolidation | Built-in monitoring across channels | Analytics, media database, outreach, and AI Visibility | Custom |
Pricing was checked on August 25, 2026. Releasd quotes in GBP, USD or EUR; annual prepayment takes 15% off. Compare like for like by adding a monitoring subscription to any reporting-only tool.
aclipp, a PR analytics platform from Germany, closes the gap Releasd deliberately leaves open. Coverage comes from the built-in monitoring, online across more than 150 million sources, plus social, podcasts and video, or through integrations with Landau Media, OBSERVER, Argus, Meltwater and Talkwalker, plus RSS and Google Alerts, and becomes custom KPIs, dashboards and white-label PDF reports, with PowerPoint export where enabled for the organization. aclipp is built in Germany and hosted in EU data centers.
Automated values stay editable, which matters when a client challenges a reach figure. Standard plans include unlimited internal users from the same email domain, though users outside your domain may incur additional charges. PR Analytics is €99 per month billed annually.
AI visibility is part of the same picture. aclipp tracks how brands appear in AI answers across nine providers, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Grok and Mistral, selectable per project, and reports them in the same dashboards and reports as earned media. It is sold as a separate product from €49 per month billed annually rather than bundled into a top tier or quoted as an enterprise add-on. See AI Visibility.
Releasd is the stronger product if the report itself is the deliverable and you already have monitoring you are happy with. aclipp is the better fit when the monitoring, the metrics and the report should be one process.
Best fit: teams tired of paying for a monitoring tool and a reporting tool that do not talk to each other.
CoverageBook is the most direct like-for-like on presentation. Bronze is $99 a month for 100 clips, Silver $229 for 400, and coverage is added manually, exactly as in Releasd. Its analysis now covers brand prominence, sentiment, coverage type and PR activity.
What CoverageBook does not document is an equivalent to Releasd's automated key-message penetration or Attention Cost Estimate, both of which sit on Releasd Pro. If you mostly need proof of coverage rather than an argument about impact, weigh that against the price difference.

Best fit: small teams that want a presentation-focused tool with published, low-commitment pricing.
ReachReport sits close to Releasd's structural position: a reporting tool that expects coverage from elsewhere, but one that can connect existing monitoring services such as Meltwater, Cision, Mention or Talkwalker rather than relying on paste and upload. The entry plan is $59 a month for up to 100 clips, with unlimited reports, clients and users on every plan.
Unlimited users contrasts with Releasd's five included seats, and at $59 it is the lowest published entry price in this comparison.
Best fit: teams with a monitoring subscription who want the reporting layer to read from it automatically.
Prezly is a different shape: branded newsrooms, contacts and campaigns, with coverage linked back to the journalist, outlet and story. Essential is €100 per month billed annually with one user, Standard €250 with two.
Monitoring is a paid per-monitor add-on covering online news, X and LinkedIn after a 14-day trial, so budget for it separately. The reporting is campaign-shaped rather than a KPI framework.

Best fit: brands whose owned newsroom sits at the centre of the programme.
Muck Rack replaces both halves at once: journalist database, pitching, built-in online monitoring and reporting, with print and broadcast monitoring and social listening as add-ons, and Generative Pulse for AI answers listed under Premier.
Muck Rack publishes no fixed plan prices. Its own guide puts annual pricing between $5,000 and $53,000, with around $15,000 for many mid-market teams, so this is a category change rather than a swap.

Best fit: teams consolidating outreach and measurement into one contract.
Meltwater approaches the problem from the monitoring side, covering online, print, broadcast and social, with dashboards, exports and GenAI Lens for AI answers. Analyst-built Custom Reports are typically an add-on.
If the reason you are looking is that finding coverage is the bottleneck rather than presenting it, start here rather than with a reporting tool.

Best fit: teams whose coverage discovery is the weak link.
CisionOne covers online, print, TV, radio, podcasts, magazines and social, adds a database of more than 500,000 validated journalists and outlets, and includes AI Visibility dashboards. Reports can be branded, interactive or exported as PDF, HTML and CSV.
It is the broadest option here and the furthest from Releasd's focused design. Shortlist it when several tools are being merged, not when the report is the only problem.

Best fit: enterprise teams merging monitoring, database, outreach and reporting.
| Your situation | Suitable shortlist |
|---|---|
| Monitoring and reporting should be one process | aclipp |
| You want a presentation-focused tool at a published price | CoverageBook or ReachReport |
| You already pay for monitoring and want reports to read from it | ReachReport |
| The newsroom and press contacts matter as much as the report | Prezly |
| You want database, pitching and reporting in one contract | Muck Rack |
| Finding the coverage is the bottleneck, not presenting it | Meltwater or CisionOne |
| The report is the deliverable and monitoring is already solved | Keep Releasd |
Releasd is a capable product with a deliberate boundary. If you already have monitoring and prefer its layout and measurement model, staying may be the better fit, and the Pro tier adds analysis that most reporting-only tools do not document.
The two questions worth asking at renewal are what you pay in total once monitoring is included, and how far you need AI measurement to go. Releasd scores the likely AI influence of the online coverage URLs in a report; tracking observed brand mentions in live AI answers over time is a separate capability. CoverageBook and ReachReport are cheaper on the reporting side; Meltwater, CisionOne and Muck Rack absorb both halves.
If you would rather have monitoring, editable metrics, client-ready reports and AI visibility in one place, aclipp is built around that path and publishes its prices.
